Purpose of Meeting: To elect three (3) Directors, each to serve a two (2) year term, and two (2) Directors, each to serve a one (1) year term.

Where to Send Ballots
By mail, received no later than October 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.: The Inspector of Elections, Accurate Voting Services, P.O. Box 80477, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688. Or in person at the Annual Meeting on October 27, 2026 during registration, 4:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m., at the Master Council Clubhouse, 1570 Alta La Jolla Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037.
Member Rights
Members have the right to verify the accuracy of their individual information on the Voter List and Candidate List. Errors should be promptly reported to the Association’s community manager or Inspector of Elections and shall be corrected within two (2) business days. Members have the right to request individual delivery of the information contained in this Notice, and may contact Management at support@nbcoastal.com to receive a copy of the Notice of Annual Meeting and Candidate List.

Dear La Jolla Alta Common Council No. 1 Homeowners,
The Association is now accepting applications from homeowners interested in serving on the Board of Directors.
This year, all five (5) Board seats will be included in the election because an annual election was not held in 2025. To reestablish staggered Board terms, the election results will determine the length of each director’s term as follows:
- The three (3) candidates receiving the highest number of votes will serve two-year terms.
- The two (2) candidates receiving the next highest number of votes will serve one-year terms.
If you are interested in becoming a candidate, please complete and return the Call for Candidates application by the deadline stated on the form.
A hard copy of the Call for Candidates application will also be mailed to all homeowners with the upcoming Association billing statements.
The Association’s Election Rules are available for review on the homeowner portal and on the Association’s website at lajollaalta1.org.
Serving on the Board is an opportunity to participate directly in the governance and future of La Jolla Alta Common Council No. 1, and we encourage interested homeowners to consider submitting their candidacy.
